Insurance company UNIVERSALNA summed up the work for the first half of 2021

Insurance company UNIVERSALNA summed up the work for the first half of 2021: for 6 months the amount of accrued insurance payments is 598.1 million UAH, which is 25.5% more than for the same period in 2020.

In particular, the company received UAH 245 million under land transport insurance contracts with CASCO, which is 41% of the total structure of the insurance portfolio and 30.3% higher than in the same period of 2020.

The second place in the company's portfolio is occupied by aviation insurance, its share is 23% or UAH 138.8 million, which is 30.7% more than in the first half of 2020.

Compulsory shares of 7% in the insurance portfolio are compulsory transport insurance (MTC), property, personal insurance and voluntary health insurance.

UNIVERSALNA demonstrates stable and reliable work in customer service and faithfully fulfills its obligations to them. In the first half of 2021, UAH 182.4 million in insurance payments were made.

The largest share is made by payments for motor insurance and voluntary health insurance. The overall level of payments is 30.5%, including:

• CASCO – UAH 102,2 million (41,7%);
• MTPL - UAH 20,25 million (49,94%);
• VHI - UAH 31,24 million (70,73%).

The largest insurance payment in the first half of 2021 took place on the green card. Our client in Poland was involved in an accident, as a result of which a Polish citizen suffered serious injuries and disability. UNIVERSALNA has previously paid UAH 3 million for this accident this year and paid an additional UAH 7.5 million for the treatment of the victim.
